This place has such great potential or maybe just a little past it's time. Location was great and quite. Had a hiccup with initial room not being booked room nor clean but Marcia was quick and pleasant getting our booking corrected. Could really use a good once over by a talented maintenance professional. Room was cute and comfortable. I would recommend this place though!

Stayed approximately 1 month at the Lodge while working at Hurricane Ida. Beyond blessed to have found this hidden gem. All suites lodge with amazing staff, great amenities, and awesome views of a top class golf course along with being super safe and quiet. Sorry about the picture quality, like I said I was there for work.

Absolutely will be back. I'm not a golfer, but was in the area for a getaway with my sister, so I can't rate anything about golf amenities. However, I live in a rural area and this spot made me feel right at home. Gorgeous trees. Far enough away from a main highway that it was quiet. The suite was amazing. Two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchenette, a sitting area featuring a wide-screen TV, and smaller TVs in both bedrooms. Our suite also had a conference table that accommodated 12. Room was on the bottom floor. Veranda with rocking chairs and ceiling fans. Small playground that is pet friendly. All-in-all a lovely place. For the 2 nights we spent there, no complaints.

We had kitchenette. Rooms very nice each with separate bathroom. Nice big screen TV with sitting areas. Nice bar to eat breakfast at or cook a meal to eat. Utensils for kitchen were adequate. However we did not stay long enough to cook. Short 2 day stay. Had playground for kids BB goal and nice rubber mat on BB layout. Goal needs little work had bolt missing on back side we made do. Did not go to pool or eat there however were told by others it was nice. Overall satisfied.

UPDATE: the AC is fixed! 2 stars to 5. will start with saying the new rooms at the bluffs are top of the line. I give the interior design and furniture a strong 5 stars. But, at $1900 a month, I think you should feel comfortable when getting your beauty rest at night. So, with that being said, imagine laying in bed and hearing the constant noise of water dripping from the air conditioner just outside of your room. The air conditioner in room 45 does just that. Now mind you, I am staying here for a month, so I have had to deal with this for a solid three weeks. I'm sure if you were staying for the weekend you could stomach the sound no problem. The reason for this review is to show the effort they took to fix the leaking AC problem. Instead of fixing of the drip, they put a bandaid (a bigger bucket) in there to hold more water.

The check in was a breeze. Loel (?sp) at the front desk is warm and welcoming. I called before my check in day and asked if I could come early and decorate the room for my anniversary and she was more than helpful. There was another lady named Marsha who was just as sweet and welcoming. She even came and helped me hang a banner in my room. Excellent customer service. The room is updated and very clean. I can’t speak to the noise level from other rooms because we don’t have anyone in the room next to us. It has been very quiet since we got here. The location is perfect to get away from life. It would have been great if the restaurant was open because there aren’t any close stores or places to eat. But covid closed it for now. I would suggest getting food before coming. There is a mini fridge that can hold a few things. Ours had water and caprison juice. I don’t know if that was provided or left here by someone previously, but that was great. I would highly recommend it here if you’re looking to get away. I do have one major complaint. I am currently writing this review from the couch(pull out sofa) because the bed is hard as a rock. It is like sleeping on concrete as it has no give or spring. It feels like you’re sleeping on the box spring. The sofa bed isn’t very comfortable either, but it’s better than the bed. My husband can sleep anywhere and he even woke up and said the bed was hurting him. We are in suite 20(I think it’s called the “Smith” suite?) in case you want to avoid this one. From the pictures, it looks like all of the beds are the same. The owner should put mattress toppers in the rooms as an option for those of us who can’t sleep on hard beds. We are enjoying our anniversary here, but have both said we wouldn’t come back because the bed is that uncomfortable. It’s extremely unfortunate too because the stay would be perfect if not for that. We are considering not staying here again tonight. I am calling to see if all of the beds are the same. I would definitely recommend it here but ONLY if you can find a room with a better bed. I may ask, but I put so much time and energy into decorating this particular room for our anniversary. I’ll update the review if we are able to change the room. Update…. We were able to change rooms. They even let us try several rooms until we found a mattress more suitable. We ended up in the room next door. Will be back!

Beautiful and quiet neighborhood with nice views and windy roads! Close enough to downtown but far enough for peace and quiet.

The owner and bookkeeper were so kind and generous. I checked in earlier than expected, they accommodated me without question. I can't say enough about them. The hotel is in a very safe, secure area of town; I'd say upper middle class. I'd definitely stay here again should I come back to town for more sightseeing. I recommend the Lodge as a 10*.
